About Me
Hi, I’m Adam Tam. I am a variety blogger and web designer. To the left you will see an illustrated me.
My real name is Adam Tambakau, a tongue twister of a surname if you weren’t raised of Borneo-Malaysian descent. I left Malaysia when I was 14 to complete my academics in Melbourne, Australia.
Blogging
Blogging started off as a medium of documenting my memories and sharing it with the family and friends I left behind. With the evolution of the internet, I felt myself growing alongside my blog.
Over time, I grew to understand that blogging unequivocally induces an audience of all forms. So while sometimes I try to be funny, other times I get down, dirty and intimate. Sometimes I sing, sometimes I vlog. To put it simply, everything I share on my involves my genuine interest, an adventurous expedition or an unforgettable experience.
There is no real genre to my blogging preferences. I migrate between interests in relatively short instances. I’ve always been labeled as a jack of all trades but master of none. It’s not entire a bad thing, you see I’d rather that than miss out on the little things that life may offer.
I guess what I’m saying is that I’d rather know how to play tennis, football, badminton, golf and baseball, than only play football at a professional level but have no idea how to use a stick… ;)
Web Design
My interest in web design came way before my blogging days, which coherently pathed my adherence into blogging. I made my first website at age 11, and continued web development into my mid-teens.
However somewhere along the way, my interest became a disinterest. With the introduction of blogging platforms such as Xanga and Blogspot, came the introduction of free blog templates, and ultimately my dissonance away from coding. My knowledge remained stagnant for a number of years.
A few years ago I was introduced to a project that reignited the flame of my passion. Whilst working on the project, I re-established my blog as a platform to hone in on my web development skills and practice my forgotten abilities. Along the way, I picked up more than I could bargain for.
So what you see here is a fully Adam Tam developed webpage. If you’d like to see more, head on over to my Web Design page where I display a portfolio of websites I have done.
Thanks for dropping by.
